Frederikshavn Art Museum and Exlibris Collection presents one of the world's largest online bookplate image databases.

The registration and digitalisation of the extensive collections (about 450.000 total) is an ongoing process and more bookplates will be added on a regular basis.

On this website you can explore the collections with our search function which allow you to find bookplates based on your choice of specific metadata such as artist, owner and printing technique etc. Try is out here: Search the Database

Each individual bookplate has it's own presentation page with all information currently known by the museum. If you find this information to be incorrect or know of any additional information, please feel free to contribute in the comment section available for each bookplate. We will review the comments as soon as possible and update the database accordingly.
